Could you use some extra training to make you more employable? Try the Workforce Investment Act program. This is federal money, administered by local offices of the Department Of Labor. In Cobb County try CobbWorks! . In other counties see your local DOL office for the location of the nearest office where this program is administered. You must apply in the county in which you live. This is one of the places where tax money comes back to benefit the taxpayers.

CobbWorks is Cobb county's Department of Labor office designated by the governor to lead the state's implementation of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998.
